The PtMS Web data exchange allows you to upload and download your data to and from PtMS on your local area network to the PtMS Web site.

FTP Data Exchange Software

ABSFTP.EXE is an FTP file transfer program that exchanges data between the PtMS local area network and the PtMS on the Web web site. Client, Schedule, Trip Verification, Trip Orders, and other lookup table information is first extracted from the PtMS data base, encrypted, then transferred to the PtMS on the Web upload folder. As soon as the transfer is completed, PtMS on the Web unencrypts the data, then updates the web site data base within minutes or less.

Uploading

The PtMS Data Exchange system allows users to upload the following files types from PtMS to PtMS on the Web. File types are denoted with a 2 character code:

CL = Client Master Records File
VH = Vehicle Code and Provider Code File
DN = Destination File
DS = Disability Codes File
SC = Daily Schedule File with trips for a schedule date
CT = Trip Verification Billing/Reporting file for a schedule date
VS = Scheduled Client Trip Records for a selected date range
TO = Client Trip Order Records - Trip Orders scheduled in PtMS Vehicle Manifest file

Downloading

The PtMS Data Exchange system allows users to download the following files types from PtMS on the Web to the PtMS database. File types are denoted with a 2 character code:

CL = Client Master Record - Driver and Special Instruction field updates
DN = Destination Driver Instruction field updates
DS = Disability Codes File
CT = Trip Verification Billing/Reporting file for a schedule date - field updates (status, etc)
TO = Client Trip Order Records - New Trip Orders
DO = Client Trip Orders to Delete - these are companion records to changes in trips

Downloading requires the user to first select the Download option for the specific file type on the Web site. This copies the selected records for the file type selected to the web site download folder. Generally, multiple downloads are completed. Next, the PtMS Data Exchange downloads all data in the web site download folder to PtMS and updates the PtMS database with records from each file type.
