"Fast Action Scheduling" is a PtMS for Windows feature that allows users to rapidly schedule a trip or set of trips for a client for a schedule day on an optimal vehicle(s) using the PtMS for Windows automated scheduling engine.  The user can initiate "Fast Action Scheduling" as part of their order taking process or when they review their schedule for a schedule day in browse mode.

A single click initiates the "Fast Action Scheduling" process which only takes a few seconds, providing the user with a selection box listing the vehicle choice for each trip, and the adjusted times for inserting the trip into the vehicle's schedule.  The user can click and view the selection as a trial, click and assign it to the schedule, or select their own vehicle and evaluate it as a vehicle choice using "Fast Action Scheduling".  

This last option is especially useful in instances where the scheduler knows what vehicle they would like to assign the trip to but is not sure the trip will fit into the vehicle's schedule.  In a few seconds "Fast Action Scheduling" will evaluate the vehicle choice, return a summary evaluation (excellent, good, fair, poor) and return adjusted pickup and drop-off times for inserting the trip into the vehicle's schedule.  With a single click the trip is inserted into the vehicle's schedule.
