What type of Support Services does ABS provide PtMS users?


ABS has an excellent record of supporting its customers. Customers have several options for reaching ABS technical support. These are listed below.

This number is available 24/7 and has voice mail for messages.

ABS Support Technicians direct phone numbers are listed on the ABS Remote Desktop Support display

This display will list the ABS support technicians that are available for direct phone contact. Call the number displayed and you will reach a technician directly or if they are on the phone you will get voice mail and a call back generally within the hour.

The ABS Remote Desktop option is on the PtMS Menu/Help menu and allows ABS support staff to directly connect to a user's workstation viewing their desktop and sharing the keyboard and mouse.

Email

ABS technical support can be reached via email at abs@abs-pa.com. Email responses to direct questions are generally delivered within an hour or less of receipt.

Web Mail

Users that do not have email clients installed can also email ABS by using the ABS support page
"Email ABS Tech Support" (http://www2.abs-pa.com/Support/EmailTech.htm)


Customer Emergencies

Customers that are having any problems producing their next days schedule after general business hours (8 am - 5pm) should use the support Web Mail option listed below as well as phoning a technician. The support Web Mail makes an entry in our support tracking system and will generally get a response after prime hour within 1-2 hours if the user is experiencing some type of system problem.

We would like to point out that in over 20 years of PtMS operation, our customer do not experience these types of problems due to PtMS software operation. Our product is too well tested and solid. However, customers have experienced hardware failures from time to time and we have worked hand in hand with our customers IT staff to get their systems restored and operational in a timely fashion.
