PtMS is a complete transportation management, scheduling, dispatching and electronic billing system for Medicaid transportation providers.

Scheduled trips are automatically transferred to the billing system and are ready for billing processing into HIPAA formatted electronic claim files which can be uploaded to Illinois Medicaid via the Illinois Department of Health and Family services website (http://www.myhfs.illinois.gov). Trip Scheduling

PtMS supports standing order and demand order entry of trip requests. Clients prior approval numbers can be assigned to trips during the entry of trip orders. Once trip orders are entered for a schedule day, PtMS' automated scheduling tools can help users rapidly build efficient vehicle schedules.

Medicaid Electronic Billing

PtMS Trip schedules are automatically transferred to Accounts Receivable where they are verified by the user as ready for billing. Once this is completed users can produce an electronic claims file of completed trips for 1 day, 1 week, or 1 month of trip services. Claims files are then uploaded to the Illinois Health and Family Services (HFS/Medi) website for payment processing.

PtMS can even be used for billing of trip services that were not scheduled through PtMS. A rapid services entry screen allows users to enter up to 1 month of trip services for billing one 1 screen.

ABS can convert schedule or billing data you may have in electronic form (such as excel spreadsheets, access database, even stored in Word) into PtMS format so that this data does not have to be rekeyed by hand to start your new system.

ABS Remote Desktop immediately connects you to an ABS support technician who can assist you with software operation questions.. Since we see what you see and share control of the mouse and keyboard, it's as if we're right there in your office with you. When the problem is solved, close the program and the connection closes. We only have access when you run the program.

Annual software maintenance and support services

Your PtMS software system includes 1 year of support and software maintenance (updates) from ABS. Support services include phone support, online desktop support, email support, and access to website on-line help and training videos.

The Price for a PtMS multiuser software systems that include software, setup and configuration, installation, 2 on-site training days, 1 year of software maintenance and support services(renewable after the first year for approximately 10% of purchase price), and the 6 CD PtMS Video Training series is $29,995. Users can purchase a single workstation license for the system for $14,995.

Multi-user operation on Windows based networks

With a multiuser PtMS network license PtMS will operate multiuser over a Windows network with a Windows 2000-2003 server and XP workstations There is no limit to the number PtMS users that can be connected to a server.
